Obama Effigy Stirring Controversy

There are many questions and much controversy today in Plains, Georgia, the little town filled with patriotism for being the hometown of the 39th President, Jimmy Carter.

The Secret Service is now involved in what witnesses say was an image of President Obama with a rope around his neck. A few people were able to snap pictures of the black doll with the rope hanging off one of the city’s most recognizable sites.

This is an unfortunate thing and, like many of the good people of Plains, we ask “why?”
