In my daily internet search for meaningful content for you INFOtainment News readers, I ran across the site littledemocrats.net.
This site is authored by Jeremy Zilber, a holder of a Ph.D. in political science and teacher of American government and politics.
Per an excerpt on his website, “…Given my strong desire to see more Americans involved in politics and my support for progressive causes and the Democratic party, I wrote and self-published Why Mommy is a Democrat in November of 2005. The response has been simply fantastic…Encourage by the book’s success, I self-published Why Daddy is a Democrat in 2007 and Mama Voted for Obama in 2008.
The books look well put together and, being children’s books, do speak to the ‘pre-voter crowd’ about the democratic election/voting process. It’s very clear that the author leans to the left as is shown in this picture from one of the book’s pages.
I find what I’ve seen quite interesting.
I’ll write more after I get my copy of the Mama Voted for Obama book.
